These are renowned as "cuneesi", being the traditional pralines of the city of Cuneo. A delicious dark chocolate and rum combination. Try it also melted in a cup of hot coffee (fantastic!).

CANTUCCI & PANFORTE
Cantucci are the traditional biscuits of Tuscany containing whole almonds, which the Italians tend to dip in a sweet wine called "vin santo".
Panforte is the traditional cake of Siena, which is prepared with honey, almonds and candy peel. Slice it into quite thin strips and serve with coffee or as an after dinner treat!
